Con la gran fiesta del cine aproximándose, y la expectativa por conocer a los nominados en cada una de las categorías, surgen también otros premios que celebran no a lo mejor de la industria, sino a todos aquellos filmes, actores y actrices que destacaron en el año por sus pésimas actuaciones, mala dirección, patética historia y finalmente peor película del año: The Golden Raspberry.
Entre los ganadores (¿?) del Razzi (como también se le conoce al premio) de años pasados, se han encontrado actrices como Hallie Berry, por su participación en la película Gatubela, Demi Moore, o el elenco completo de la segunda entrega de Sex & The City, actores como Ashton Kutcher, The Jonas Brothers, Adam Sandler, etc. Asimismo, dentro de las peores producciones, el reconocimiento ha ido para filmes como Gatubela, Wild Wild West, o la infame Jack & Jill, entre otras.
